Description
The Shadow 120 MV is for advanced and expert skiers with average-width feet who want more power and control with less effort. The 120 flex is stiff and gives you a strong platform for ripping the whole mountain, and the 100 mm medium-volume last fits average feet precisely and comfortably.
Lange's Assisted Performance System pairs a Dual Pivot design with an external Suspension Blade, which Lange says boosts your input by up to 26%, so the boot engages its full length and delivers power with less energy. The Suspension Blade also absorbs shock through the shell for better snow feel, a Flex Adjust insert can soften the flex by 8%, and Dual Core shell construction places hard plastic where power goes to the ski and softer plastic where the boot wraps your foot. The thermoformable Core Custom liner uses Auxetic Technology to contour to your foot in all three dimensions, with a one-piece build and asymmetrical toe box for a pressure-free fit, while four buckles and a 45 mm power strap keep you locked in.
Pre-mounted GripWalk soles add traction on the walk while keeping full alpine binding release compatibility. It's a boot for long, fast days that still leave you with legs for the last run.
Best for advanced to expert skiers with medium-volume feet who want a stiff, powerful all-mountain boot.
