Description
The Mindbender 120 BOA is for freeride skiers with average to slightly narrow feet who want one boot that can tour, bootpack, and ski hard on the way down. The 120 flex is stiff and confident for strong skiers, and K2's mid-volume MultiFit last, made for boots in the 97 to 100 mm range, gives a precise, all-day fit.
K2's Powerlite shell uses varying wall thicknesses and four types of TPU to stay light while staying responsive, and the BOA Fit System micro-adjusts the fit for an even wrap. Powerlock Spyne opens up 50° of range for the skin track, then locks in solidly for the descent, and the PrecisionFit Pro Tour liner uses heat-moldable Ultralon foam with a flex notch for easier hiking. The shell and cuff are fully heat-moldable, the Fastfit Instep makes entry easier, and a modular honeycomb boot board helps hold in warmth.
Integrated tech fittings work with pin touring bindings and alpine bindings, and GripWalk soles (ISO 23223) add traction on the hike. It's the boot for a morning lap up the skin track and an afternoon of ripping the resort with friends.
Best for advanced skiers with medium-volume feet who split time between resort freeride and touring and want one BOA boot for both.
