Description
Some days start on fresh corduroy and end in soft chop off the side of the trail, and most skis are only happy for half of that. The Nela 86 is a light, easygoing all-mountain ski that keeps you comfortable from first chair to last, so you spend the day following your friends wherever they head instead of picking your way around the snow.
Rebuilt for 2027 to replace the Nela 88, the Nela 86 borrows shaping ideas from Stöckli's Stormrider line and puts them into a women's ski that's quick on groomers and relaxed in mixed snow. A poplar, beech, and paulownia core with Stöckli's Thin Glass Laminate keeps weight low, while Softflex and a Powder Rocker tip make turns easy to start. Titanal Technology Pro adds just enough backbone that the ski stays calm when the snow firms up or speeds pick up.
Light build (about 1,490 g per ski at 162 cm) that saves your legs for the afternoon
Softflex construction for a forgiving, low-effort feel that still holds an edge
Powder Rocker tip and Freeride Tail for float and easy pivots off the groomers
Best for intermediate to advanced women skiers who want one ski that handles groomers, spring snow, and soft off-trail days, and who value a smooth, low-effort ride over all-out top-end power.

Key Features
Softflex Technology: A softer flex pattern makes the ski easy to bend into a turn at moderate speeds, so you get a carved arc without having to muscle it.
Thin Glass Laminate + Light Core: Trimming weight from the fiberglass and core keeps swing weight low, which means less fatigue and quicker reactions in bumps and tight spots.
Titanal Technology Pro: A measured amount of Titanal adds damping and stability, keeping the ride quiet and predictable when conditions get firm or chopped up. The treated topsheet also resists scratches.
Powder Rocker + Freeride Tail: The rockered tip rides up and over soft snow and starts turns with little effort, while the tail lets go cleanly for slashes and pivots off-piste.
86 mm Waist: Narrow enough to get edge to edge quickly on hardpack, with enough surface to stay steady in spring slush and afternoon leftovers.
Solid Metal Edge Light: Full-thickness edges with thinner insertion tabs, saving weight without giving up grip or durability.
