Description
The Float E2 Pack is built for big days in the backcountry, giving you the space, comfort, and advanced safety tech you need for confident skiing or riding. Its durable waterproof-coated exterior keeps your gear protected in harsh winter weather, and the smart pocket design makes it easy to stay organized. The standout Side Stash pocket lets you quickly grab essentials, like water or skins, without taking your pack off, which is especially valuable in avalanche terrain. Inside, you’ll find a dedicated rescue-tools compartment, a fleece-lined goggle pocket, interior accessory sleeves, and a Back Stash zipper for quick access. The molded cooling-fin back panel adds support and breathability for long tours.
The pack features a 162-liter airbag engineered to help keep you on the surface during an avalanche and reduce head and neck trauma. Powered by the reliable Alpride E2 supercapacitor system, this airbag deploys fast even in extreme cold and remains TSA-approved for hassle-free travel.

AA Batteries for Additional Deployments
In addition to the supercapacitor storage, you can install two AA batteries to allow for additional deployments in the field. The batteries also help keep the supercapacitors at full charge when not in use. AA alkaline batteries allow for one additional deployment and can keep the system charged for up to three months under normal use. AA lithium batteries allow for three additional deployments and can keep the system charged for up to five months of normal use.
The Float airbag system does not guarantee survival in an avalanche incident. Educate yourself, make good decisions, and know before you go.
